Build Relationships. Create Opportunities. Grow With Us.
ServiceMaster Restoration Services is growing throughout the Atlanta market, and we’re looking for a motivated Business Development Consultant (BDC) to help us build stronger relationships, create new opportunities, and grow our referral network.
If you enjoy talking to people, making connections, staying organized, and seeing your work directly contribute to company growth, this could be a great fit.
This is not a position where you sit around waiting for the phone to ring. You’ll be actively reaching out, following up, building relationships, scheduling meetings, and helping turn conversations into business.
What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with insurance agents, plumbers, HVAC companies, property managers, realtors, commercial businesses, and other referral partners
- Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to new and existing contacts
- Schedule meetings and appointments for our business development team
- Follow up with referral partners and prospective accounts
- Help turn new contacts into long-term referral relationships
- Manage contacts, opportunities, and follow-up activity in our CRM
- Research and identify new businesses and accounts to pursue
- Support outside sales representatives with scheduling and follow-up
- Help coordinate networking events, lunches, meetings, and community outreach
- Follow up with referral partners after jobs are received
- Track activity, opportunities, referrals, and results
- Represent the ServiceMaster brand professionally
Why You’ll Like This Role
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build valuable professional relationships throughout the Atlanta market
- Work with a nationally recognized restoration brand
- Be part of a growing company where your work is visible and important
- Develop real sales and business development experience
- Work directly with company leadership and the sales team
- Grow into higher-level sales and leadership positions
- See the direct results of the relationships you build
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you are:
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable starting conversations
- Persistent and good at following up
- Organized and able to manage multiple relationships at once
- Comfortable making outbound calls and sending professional messages
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Competitive and goal-oriented
- Comfortable being measured on activity and results
- Interested in sales, networking, and relationship building
Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, insurance, construction, restoration, or account management is helpful, but the right attitude, communication skills, and work ethic are just as important.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means consistently:
- Making new connections
- Scheduling quality meetings
- Following up with referral partners
- Keeping the CRM organized and accurate
- Developing new referral relationships
- Creating opportunities for the sales team
- Helping generate new jobs and revenue
We’re not looking for someone who simply checks boxes. We want someone who enjoys building relationships and wants to play an important role in growing the company.
Training & Growth
We provide onboarding, training on the restoration industry, CRM training, sales guidance, and ongoing support from leadership.
Strong performers will have opportunities to grow into roles such as:
Senior BDC | Business Development Manager | Territory Sales Manager | Commercial Business Development | Sales Leadership
Ready to Grow With Us?
If you’re motivated, organized, enjoy talking with people, and want a position where your effort can help grow a business, we’d like to meet you.
