Under Washington's My Health My Data Act and comparable laws in several other states, a business that collects “consumer health data” has to publish a policy describing how it handles that data.
This page exists to state plainly that RestorationHires does not collect any consumer health data.
What RestorationHires is
RestorationHires is a job board for property damage restoration, publishing openings and career guides for water, fire and mold restoration technicians, abatement and biohazard workers, contents staff, crew leads, estimators and project managers.
Restoration work does come with health-related requirements, such as respirator medical clearance and fit testing for mold or asbestos jobs, drug screens or the ability to lift and climb, but those are handled between the employer and the applicant and never by RestorationHires.
The site offers no medical, health or wellness service of any kind, and it never asks visitors about their health, fitness for duty or medical history.
RestorationHires is not a health care provider, a health plan or a health care clearinghouse, and it does not handle medical records, occupational health exam results or insurance claims data.
Categories of health data RestorationHires never gathers
No consumer health data, within the meaning of Washington's My Health My Data Act or similar state laws, is collected, used, shared or sold by RestorationHires.
In particular, we hold no information about:

Job seekers never set up accounts on RestorationHires, and an application, along with any medical clearance or certificate attached to it, goes directly to the employer that posted the job.
Please leave health details out of any email you send to our support address, since we have no need for them.
The small amount of information we do hold, which comes from employers buying listings and from routine server logs, is set out in our Privacy Policy .
If this ever changes
Should RestorationHires ever begin collecting consumer health data, we would update this policy beforehand and set up any notice and consent the law requires before collecting anything.
