Terms & Conditions

Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: October 7, 2026

1. Accepting these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of restorationhires.com (“RestorationHires,” “we,” “us”).

Browsing restoration openings, opening any page of the site or buying a post counts as your acceptance of these Terms, and you agree to be legally bound by them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use RestorationHires at all.

Buying a post, or applying for a restoration job through RestorationHires, requires you to be 18 or older.

2. The service RestorationHires offers

RestorationHires publishes openings in property damage restoration, including restoration and water mitigation technicians, mold remediation and abatement workers, contents staff, crew leads, estimators and project managers. RestorationHires is not a restoration contractor and performs no mitigation, remediation, abatement, cleaning, reconstruction, inspection or consulting work of any kind, and it gives no professional, safety, licensing or legal advice to restoration companies, job seekers or anyone else.

Our only role is to publish restoration job posts and related career information.

RestorationHires is not the employer of anyone hired through a post, does not act as a recruiter, staffing firm or labor broker, and is not a party to any employment relationship between a restoration company and an applicant.

RestorationHires does not screen, interview or endorse restoration employers or applicants, and it makes no promise that a post will lead to a hire or that an application will lead to an offer.

3. Where posts on RestorationHires come from

Posts reach RestorationHires by one of two routes: a restoration employer pays for a post and submits it, or we gather it from a careers page the employer has made public.

Either way, the employer and not RestorationHires is responsible for the accuracy of the duties, pay, certification or licence requirements and every other detail.

A restoration company, franchise location or abatement contractor may change or close a gathered opening on its own site before the version on RestorationHires catches up.

When you click Apply you leave RestorationHires for an application page operated by the employer, and that employer's own terms and privacy policy apply from that point.

4. Buying a post

  • Each paid post is charged once, at the price listed on the pricing page and it does not renew unless you decide to buy it again.
  • Recurring billing applies only to the Growth and Brand slot plans. Each is arranged with you directly and billed every month, and you can cancel either one at any time.
  • Card payments to RestorationHires are taken by Stripe; your full card number does not pass through or get stored on our servers.
  • Each post is published once checkout completes, stays up for 30 days and then expires on its own.
  • Every refund request is assessed under the Refund Policy.
  • When you post, you confirm that the restoration job exists and is open now, that the post is truthful and lawful, and that it meets every applicable employment law, including anti-discrimination law and any state or local pay transparency rule that covers the position.
  • We may decline, edit or take down a post if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, listed under the wrong restoration role or otherwise breaches these Terms. No refund is given for a post removed because it breached these Terms.

5. Rules for using the site

Anyone using RestorationHires agrees that they will not:

  • submit a post that is untrue, misleading or fraudulent, or one that promotes anything other than a real restoration job;
  • scrape, copy or bulk-download posts or other site content in order to republish it, unless we have agreed in writing first;
  • interfere with RestorationHires, test or access systems or data you are not authorized to use, or attempt to publish a post without paying;
  • send spam or other unsolicited marketing through RestorationHires;
  • impersonate another person or a company or franchise location you have no authority to represent, or misrepresent your connection to a restoration employer.

6. Career and pay information is for general reference

The career guides, pay pages and certification and licensing pages on RestorationHires give general background on working in water, fire and mold restoration, abatement and related trades.

None of it is legal, tax, safety, licensing or other professional advice, and it may lag behind the latest changes to state mold and abatement licensing, OSHA and EPA rules or certification standards.

Pay figures are estimates based on the sources we cite and do not guarantee what any restoration job pays.

Confirm any detail about a licence, certification or credential with the agency or certifying body that grants it before you rely on it.

7. Who owns the content

The text, design and branding of RestorationHires are owned by us or licensed to us, and they are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Restoration employers keep ownership of the post content they submit and give us a license to display, format and distribute it as needed to operate RestorationHires, including in search engine job listings.

Company, franchise and brand names and logos shown in posts are the property of the businesses they refer to.

8. No warranties

We provide RestorationHires on an “as is” and “as available” basis. As far as the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We make no warranty that RestorationHires will run without interruption or error, that any restoration post is accurate or up to date, or that any employer or applicant is who they say they are.

9. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, RestorationHires has no liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, that arise from your use of RestorationHires, a hiring decision, an employment relationship or the outcome of an application.

For all claims connected with RestorationHires combined, our liability will not exceed what you paid us during the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you paid us nothing.

10. Indemnification

Each restoration employer agrees to indemnify and hold RestorationHiresharmless against any claim that arises from a post it places, such as a claim that the post is untrue, unlawful or discriminatory, and against any claim that arises from its own hiring practices.

11. Revisions to the site and these Terms

We can change, pause or shut down any part of RestorationHires at any time.

We can also revise these Terms, and each revision will carry a new “Last updated” date at the top of the page.

If you keep using RestorationHires once a revision is posted, you are accepting the revised Terms.

A material change to the terms for paid posts covers only purchases made on or after the date it takes effect.

12. Applicable law and contact details

These Terms are governed by United States law and the law of the state in which RestorationHires is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
