- Develop and execute a territory plan to grow referral sources, strengthen existing accounts, and achieve revenue goals.
- Build relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, facility managers, plumbers, contractors, and business owners.
- Conduct consistent prospecting through in-person visits, phone calls, meetings, and targeted follow-up.
- Identify new business opportunities, present SERVPRO® services, and ask for referrals.
- Represent the company at professional associations, networking events, lunch-and-learns, and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, including contacts, activity, opportunities, and next steps.
- Provide ownership and management with regular updates on account development, referral activity, and territory revenue.
- Collaborate with operations to communicate customer needs and support a smooth handoff from referral to service delivery.
- Ensure presentations and business development materials follow SERVPRO® brand standards.
- At least three years of business development or outside sales experience with SERVPRO® or another restoration company.
- Demonstrated success generating referrals, developing accounts, and meeting sales goals.
- Strong understanding of restoration services and the needs of insurance and property management referral partners.
- Confidence with prospecting, cold calling, presentations, and asking for business.
- Ability to independently plan daily activity, manage a territory, and follow through on opportunities.
- Strong communication, organization, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout South Orange County for meetings, site visits, and events.
- Established professional relationships within the South Orange County market.
- Experience developing commercial accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
